Volunteer Opportunities
ON ICE COACH
Being a coach is more than just teaching the fundamentals of ice hockey. It's about teaching kids sportsmanship, perseverance, teamwork and how to have fun on the ice. Volunteers are needed who can coach from October through March.
All on ice coaches must be at least 18 years old, have previous hockey experience, be a USA Hockey Certified Coach and pass a background check. Requirements for USA Hockey Coaching certification can be found at http://www.usahockey.com/coaches.
On Ice Student Coach
All on ice student coaches must be between 13 and 17 years old, have previous hockey experience and be a USA Hockey Certified Student Coach. Requirements for USA Hockey Student Coaching certification can be found at http://www.usahockey.com/page/show/893015-student-coaches.
Off Ice Volunteer
Off-ice volunteers assist coaches and program operations with off-ice duties in the locker room, equipment storage, player registration, travel coordination, classroom teaching, virtual programming, etc. No previous hockey experience is needed., just a passion for helping further our mission.
